Associate Broker at Walker Commercial Services
Jennifer Chumley began working with Bill Walker in 1999, while he was still at Hall Associates and went with him to Walker Commercial Services, Inc. Prior to joining Walker Commercial Services, Inc., Jennifer was a Real Estate Paralegal. She prepared documentation, prepared applications for Title Insurance, prepared Settlement Statements and closed real estate loans and purchases for a local Attorney. Four years prior to that, she was a Mortgage Loan Reviewer and Closer and reviewed closing documents for a mortgage company.
Jennifer is Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker for the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Office Manager. Jennifer handles the management of the office, as well as the accounting. She designs and creates the brochures, newspaper advertisements, develops mailing lists, conducts Courthouse research, putting together information for Auctions and Listings, as well as many other duties. In addition to supporting Bill in his Real Estate Sales, Auctions and Listings by drawing contracts, preparing budgets, etc., she also supports the other agents in the office with contracts and paperwork.
Because of Jennifer’s previous knowledge in real estate closings, she oversees the real estate closings that comes through the office. She works closely with the title companies, attorneys and paralegals on the closings.
For Equipment Auctions, Jennifer works closely with Bankers and Sellers to obtain all necessary information for clear vehicle titles and Bills of Sales for proper transfers at the Equipment Auctions. She prepares the inventory lists, website organization, on-line bidding arrangements prior to the Auction. She also supervises the checking in, clerking and checking out of buyers on sale day at the Equipment Auctions. Jennifer works closely with Anthony to go through the Post-Auction load out and disbursements. Jennifer has an awesome team of people that work with her on the Equipment Auctions to make the Auctions flow as smoothly as they do.
